Wellington offers a wide variety of activities. Starting with the Civic Square in the heart of the city, there is the impressive Central Library.

Oriental Parade is a beautiful street to stroll along with fantastic views of the harbour and leads up to the summit of Mount Victoria from where you can get a great view of the city.

Wellington's shopping and business district is Lambton Quay which is constructed primarily on reclaimed land. On the upper section of the Botanic Gardens at Kelburn is the Cable Car ride giving great views of the city and the harbour.

Visiting the Parliamentary District is a refreshing peek into the political administration of Aotearoa.

Activities like trips to Kapiti Island can be arranged in Wellington. The trendy beaches to the north of Wellington at Paraparaumu provide a great distraction.
